Concert #15 Is LIVE!
“It is my very own pleasure to introduce this week’s concert by featuring not only one of my most important mentors and biggest musical influences but also a true living visionary: Mr. “Rakalam” Bob Moses, with who I’ve had the incredible opportunity to share music and life at a truly deep level through amazing journeys over the past 7 years. My gratitude to him for accepting the invitation to be part of this concert series! Hope you all enjoy”. Tupac.
Hi all,
Sorry for the delayed post. This is concert #14, curated by Aristides Rivas. Wow, looking back at all we have created for this project, it’s amazing. This concert was a performance that I set myself to do as a personal and artistic challenge. The music is by Bach, and it’s the 6th, and last suite for cello solo. The key is D major, one of the most uplifting keys of all. Technically, this piece presents a lot of chalenges for the performer. But nothing compares to the challenge of listening carefully to the beauty inside these notes. That’s a chalenge that will accompany for the rest of my career. I hope you enjoy!
